As Director of Finance and Controller, Chris is responsible for managing the accounting and finance functions of Repcon. This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, purchasing, financial reporting and analysis, general accounting, field clerical support and timekeeping, and information technology. Chris works closely with the CEO, the President, and the EMCOR Industrial Services Group CFO, as well as other senior managers, on tactical and strategic planning and initiatives.


Chris has been involved in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years, and, was previously an active United States Army officer, stationed primarily in Europe.

Chris has worked in finance, operations, and consulting for the majority of his career. Prior to starting his own consulting business, Chris held positions at Pennzoil-Quaker State, Shell, and ConocoPhillips. Chris is especially skilled in business process improvement and tax planning, as well as optimizing accounting, finance, and banking functions, which makes him adept at turning around underperforming businesses.

Chris graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. He also attended various schools in the US Army, along with a variety of continuing education courses and seminars. He was a certified property tax consultant and is a member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) of Corpus Christi. Additionally, Chris was previously an officer on the board of directors for the Calcasieu Women’s Shelter in Louisiana.

The Personal Side

Chris and his wife, Janet, have two sons. Outside of work, Chris enjoys offshore and bay fishing, as well as hunting.
