Vice President, Operations
As Vice President of Operations for the Southwest Region, Kipp’s responsibilities include overall operations and administration of direct reports, contractor activities, proposal reviews, and team alignment. With his team of professional project managers, committed to customer satisfaction, he works tirelessly to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
Originally overseeing only South Texas, in 2018 Kipp was requested to expand his region into West Texas. Since then, he has been able to successfully grow Repcon’s business by cultivating new clientele, establishing fabrication capabilities with some of the finest companies in the region, and forming a team with the talent and vision necessary for industry-leading service.
Throughout his 30-year career in the mechanical construction business, Kipp has developed expertise working in a variety of roles, including steamfitter, welder, foreman, general foreman, superintendent, and small business owner, as well as a variety of administrative positions, such as project manager, vice president of operations, and construction service manager.
Just before joining EMCOR, Kipp was the construction service manager for a major oil refinery, where he was responsible for over 2,000 contractor employees and 19 nested contractors.
In 2016, Kipp joined EMCOR, bringing with him years of industry-experience and the unique perspective of a former entrepreneur, which helps him deliver unmatched service on every project.
Kipp has a master project manager (MPM) certificate from Thomas University, as well as the following licenses: Master Gas, Master Low Pressure/Hydronic License, High Pressure Piping (HPP) Contractor License, and Master Refrigeration License.
The Personal Side
In his free time, Kipp enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, makes frequent trips to Minnesota to visit family and friends, and is an avid golfer.
